What a fun day! We went to a double birthday party for some friends out at Clay's. They had arranged for an artist friend to paint the kids faces and my kids LOVED that. I was starting to wonder if Amaya was going to want one on her forehead next since both her cheeks were painted! The weather started out a bit sketchy, but the rain held off and we enjoyed a day of friendship, cake and fun!
When we got home, we all had a little rest time...well, Kai had "dinosaur time", Amaya colored, Kalan napped, and I had "Lifetime Movie time" :) After that I made Amaya's FAVORITE meal ever..fettuccini alfredo. She could seriously eat this for every meal, and the boys seemed to enjoy slurping the noodles as well as the sauce dripped off their noses and chins!
Looking forward to my favorite day of the week, Sunday, tomorrow!
