Tonight, everyone climbed in Kai's bed for story time. Friday is Library day for Amaya's class at school, so Kai is always excited to see what book(s) Amaya brings home. Today she brought home "Oh Say Can You Say?" by Dr. Suess. Wow...the whole book is full of tongue twisters and the kids all got a kick out of listening to me stumble through them! We actually had a pretty smooth evening. There was one crisis with Kalan jumping on Amaya, but other than that, the kids played together well until bedtime! It's nights like these that I don't mind reading just a couple extra stories...and they don't mind hearing them! Yay for good nights! It's so funny that we are alike like that ... the number of books I read is entirely contingent on how our night went!
